Tablao Flamenco™, presented by American Bolero Dance Company, is an ongoing series of cabaret-style shows featuring live Flamenco and other styles of Spanish dance and music. Taking place in the heart of Astoria's business district at The Chian Federation, the series showcases some of the finest talent from New York City and abroad and proudly continues to bring the artistry and excitement of live Flamenco and Spanish dance to the Queens area. Now in its fourth year, Tablao Flamenco™ has garnered recognition and praise by both the media and audience members. The April 20th installment will be a tablao with operatic flair! Acclaimed baritone PETER CASTALDI, makes a cameo appearance, performing a familiar Spanish classical favorite that is sure to be one of the many highlights of the evening. Along with GABRIELA GRANADOS, Mr. Castaldi joins a phenomenal cast of artists that includes dancers JOSE MORENO, SOL "La ARGENTINITA", LA MAGDALENA, and LILIANA MORALES, singers ALFONSO CID and AURORA REYES, guitarists BASILIO GEORGES and CRISTIAN PUIG, and the BALLET ESPANOL DE GABRIELA GRANADOS.
