Hudson Valley Flamenco Festival presents Tablao—an intimate gathering that brings the essence of Spain’s traditional Peñas to you. In Spain, Peñas have long been a refuge for flamenco’s most devoted artists and fans, a place where the art form thrives outside of commercial settings. Poet Federico García Lorca championed them as a way to preserve flamenco’s raw authenticity in the face of political repression. The Tablao brings an intimate Flamenco experience between the artists and the audience. Our mission is simple: to bring the people’s flamenco to the people.
