Alma flamenca is a traditional flamenco ensemble consisting of two dancers, a guitarist and a singer, all from Spain, During the course of an evening we will present a few of the musical styles drawn from the rich and complex tapestry that is flamenco. The music and dance will be delivered with precision and dexterity although it will come across as an uncontrollable hurricane of fire and mayhem, Join us for a few moments of bliss and fury, as together artists and audience we attempt to hunt down the mysterious creature known as duende.

Elisabet Torras is a flamenco dancer, teacher and choreographer from Barcelona, Spain where she earned her B.A in Flamenco & Spanish Dance from the Conservatory of Dance and Theater. She has been a guest artist at prestigious Flamenco Festivals worldwide

Alfonso Cid, flamenco singer and flute player. Seville, Spain, 1969. His mother, an amateur singer from Triana, a flamenco enclave in Seville, and his grandfather, an aficionado of flamenco, were his earliest influences. He also attended the activities of one the most significant flamenco clubs, the Peña Flamenca Torres-Macarena in Seville.

From the colourful Arganzuela portion of Madrid, Jesus Olmedo is a professional dancer, choreographer and dance instructor with over twenty years of experience. Jesus enjoys working in a multicultural environment enhanced by sophisticated communication and on captivating stage productions. Jesus always feels inspired in sharing his knowledge and experience of flamenco.

Jackson Scott born in Seville to British parents who left London for rural Spain in the 70´s, Jackson’s music is steeped in these differing cultures.
